Cats cannot metabolize acetaminophen. A single regular-strength tablet can be lethal. No safe dose exists.
Narrow margin in dogs; liver toxicity. Only under direct veterinary direction.
No safe OTC dose. GI ulceration and kidney failure. Cats roughly twice as sensitive as dogs.
Extremely narrow margin. Single tablets have caused GI perforation in mid-size dogs.
Dog spot-on flea products containing permethrin cause fatal tremors/seizures in cats.
Stimulant toxicity: tremors, tachycardia, hyperthermia.
CNS depression, hypoglycemia, acidosis.
Methemoglobinemia in cats.
