What VetDose is
VetDose displays dose ranges and toxicity thresholds as published by veterinary references (listed at /sources/). It is an informational reference, like a printed drug handbook. Using VetDose means you accept these terms.
Not veterinary advice
VetDose does not provide veterinary or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created by using it. Only a veterinarian who knows your animal can make medication decisions. Always confirm anything you read here with your veterinarian before acting on it.
Emergencies
If your pet may have ingested something dangerous, contact a veterinarian, an emergency animal hospital, the Pet Poison Helpline (855-764-7661), or ASPCA Animal Poison Control (888-426-4435) immediately. Do not rely on this site in place of professional help.
Accuracy and warranty
We work to reflect published sources faithfully and cite every entry, but we provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, and published references themselves can change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetDose and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Acceptable use
Personal, non-commercial use is welcome, including printing our lists for your home or clinic with attribution intact. Do not scrape at abusive volume, misrepresent VetDose content as your own, or remove citations or attribution from reproduced material.
Subscriptions
Optional paid features, where offered, renew automatically until cancelled through your app store account settings. Prices are shown before purchase. Safety and calculator features remain free.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above changes with them. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
